FAQ
Q: I can’t watch the film at its scheduled time. Can I watch it later?
A: No problem! Once the watch window opens, you’ll be able to begin watching the feature or short block. All films are open for at least 48 hours.
Q: What if I have to pause the film or short film block?
A: Also no problem! From the moment you begin watching, you’ll have a further 48 hours to complete watching.
Q: Is there an advantage to watching the film in its entirety at the scheduled time?
A: Totally! So many of the films selected are screening for the first time in Canada, North America or in the world. Being part of that sure feels cool.
Q: Can I interact with the filmmakers?
A: Most screenings are accompanied by a director, or cast and crew Q&A hosted by Pendance. These discussions are illuminating and provide so much context and insight into the film or films you’ve just watched.
All Q&As, panels and most workshops happen live on YouTube and will then be available to watch throughout the duration of the festival.
