AGE OUT is a passionate portrait of youth set in Waco, Texas. Forced out of foster care at age 18, Richie Wincott (Tye Sheridan) collides with the perils and temptations of a life apart. Becoming a prime suspect in a botched robbery, he discovers an impossible love in an unlikely friend. AGE OUT is a humane story about love, loss, wrongdoing, and redemption.

AGE OUT, formerly known as FRIDAY’S CHILD made its Canadian Premiere at Pendance 2019, winning the Jury Award for Best Picture.

Amanda (Morgan Saylor) and Jake (McCaul Lombardi) are in love and want to start a new life together in Los Angeles. Amanda comes from an upper-middle class family, just graduated from college, and has some pressure to find the right job and succeed in her career. Jake is rough around the edges, without a degree, and some, including Amanda’s family, see him as a slacker. In the City of Angels, nothing happens as planned for the young couple as they face the realities of adulthood: family, career, friendship, lodging, finances, love and towed cars. From setbacks to surprises, Amanda and Jake try to find their place in the sprawling city. Will they make the right choices?

IN REALITY won director Ann Lupo the Audience Award for best feature film at Pendance 2019, where the film made its Canadian Premiere.

Tarik (11) helps his father Elias (35) to transport illegal immigrants into the Netherlands. When an accident occurs, Tarik gains the acknowledgement from his father he has yearned for, but at a high price – the loss of his own innocence.
