Synopsis: Samuel David returns from a four-year tour in Iraq after his base is attacked. As he struggles to piece his life together, he finds the life he left behind is no longer one that he belongs to.

Nenad Cicin-Sain

Nenad Cicin-Sain started his career in video art, showing in galleries in both New York and San Francisco, including Henoch and Hespe. During this time, Cicin-Sain was approached by Thom York of Radiohead to convert one of Cicin-Sain’s pieces into a music video for their song “Exit Music.” He went on to direct other music videos and commercials for Apple.

Cicin-Sain’s feature writing and directing début, THE TIME BEING, starring Frank Langella, Wes Bentley, Corey Stoll and Sarah Paulson premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2012 and won for best cinematography at the Newport Film festival.
