Vacuum Packed is an Italian short comedy film by, with, and about women. Eleonora cheated on her husband with a younger man. Her therapist, meanwhile, has announced that, after ten years, Eleonora is ready to go on with her life, therapy-free. Eleonora is in shock. It’s at this point that her emotions materialize in flesh and blood, taking Eleonora hostage in her own apartment.

Elena Fiorenzani

Elena Fiorenzani is an Italian director, screenwriter and producer.
Her most recent works include a live worldwide streaming event for SKY and CTV entitled Fiat Lux; Our Common Home, the documentary The Snail Theory: with Erri De Luca, a collection of short portrait of notable Italians directors for the Espace Cardin in Paris and the music video Aria di Città, a finalist at the Sony Mobile Festival.

Elena graduated with honors from The Discipline Arte, Musica e Spettacolo or DAMS in Bologna where she studied Directing and Screenwriting under Oscar Award Winners: Bernardo Bertolucci, Jane Campion, Paul Haggis, Jean-Luc Godard, Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne.

Upon graduation, Elena began working as an Assistant Director for both Italian and International productions. Today, she is a partner at Frog&Roll Productions with offices in Rome, Milan and Los Angeles. Elena is also a Teacher of Cinema Studies and Filmmaking at Accademia09 in Milan.
