Anya Vagabova (Host)
Anya Vagabova is the founder and CEO of ConneKt Film, bringing a wealth of experience in virtual production, interactive media, development, program management, and producing. Her impressive career spans notable organizations such as William F. White (Sunbelt Rentals Film & TV), Frantic Films, the Canadian Film Centre, and xoTO Schools at NABET 700-M UNIFOR. Anya is deeply passionate about democratizing access to cutting-edge filmmaking technologies, ensuring they are accessible to all. Her commitment to innovation and inclusivity continues to inspire and empower filmmakers across the industry.
Dr. Raquel Benitez Rojas, PhD, MA, MBA
Dr. Benitez is an award-winning Media and TV Executive with extensive experience in children and family entertainment. Holding a Ph.D. in Cinematography from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an MBA from Universitat de Barcelona, she has worked across the United States, Asia, Canada, and Europe. She is a member of numerous prestigious organizations, including the Canadian Picture Pioneers, WAWA, and IAMCR. As a curriculum developer and guest speaker, Dr. Benitez has contributed to top international universities. Her notable works include books such as “Revolutionizing Communication: The Role of Artificial Intelligence” and “The Future of Digital Communication: The Metaverse.”
Tanya Stemberger
Tanya Stemberger is a Founder, Director and Co-CEO of Immersion Room, where she leads strategy and helps bridge the gap between creativity and technology in Virtual Production. With a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making, she has spent nearly 20 years building teams, refining technology, and making complex ideas accessible to a broad range of professionals. When not immersed in the world of film technology, she can often be found with clay on her hands or wood dust in her hair.
James Rowan
An expert in technology,  James has spent his career working in education and research focused around technologies in film, television and gaming industries. Currently he works at SIRT as a research lead on the Virtual Production team, and works with partners and students end to end on the ICVFX pipeline.
Zahir Kahn
Zahir is an AI Film Producer, Film Director, and VFX Producer. He’s made significant contributions to high-end feature films, episodic series, and animated features. Currently, Zahir is leveraging his extensive VFX experience and short film directing skills, integrating them with cutting-edge AI technology to create innovative visuals and achieve effects traditionally produced in post-production workflows.
